Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a heavy goods vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Transport goods and materials to various locations, ensuring timely delivery of products
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues to the maintenance team
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
• Work collaboratively with the logistics team, ensuring efficient delivery of goods and materials

Requirements:

• Valid HGV license, with a minimum of 2 years of experience driving heavy goods vehicles
• Good knowledge of Irish roads and traffic laws, with a strong focus on safety and compliance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects, as required
