Job Description:
Our company is currently seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to fill our Fruit Picker/Packer positions for the upcoming harvest season (2024). As a Fruit Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for harvesting and packing various types of fruits, such as apples, peaches, berries, and more, in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Pick ripe and undamaged fruits according to specific criteria and instructions from the supervisor.
- Sort, clean, and pack fruits in designated containers according to size, shape, and variety.
- Ensure the quality and freshness of the fruits by handling them with care.
- Help maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly disposing of waste and cleaning equipment.
- Keep track of the amount of fruit picked and packed to meet daily and weekly targets.
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Requirements:
- No prior experience necessary; we will provide on-the-job training.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and possess a valid work visa.
