Key Responsibilities

Reservoir Modeling and Simulation:

• Develop and maintain complex reservoir models using industry-standard software to predict gas reservoir behavior and optimize production.
• Conduct simulation studies to evaluate the impact of different operating scenarios on reservoir performance.

Reservoir Performance Analysis:

• Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in gas reservoir performance.
• Develop and maintain databases to track reservoir performance and optimize data management.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical support to the asset team to optimize gas production and injection operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement reservoir management strategies.

Reporting and Communication:

• Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders, including reservoir performance reviews and simulation results.
• Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in gas reservoir engineering, with a focus on reservoir modeling and simulation.
• Experience working with industry-standard software such as Eclipse, Petrel, or CMG.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of reservoir engineering principles, including fluid flow, rock mechanics, and thermodynamics.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or Fortran.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
