Key Responsibilities

In the PTS Support Technician role at Publix, your daily tasks will include:

1. System Troubleshooting and Support

You will help troubleshoot issues with our POS systems. Whether it’s a software bug or a hardware failure, you’ll work to find the cause and fix it as quickly as possible. You will provide support for all Publix locations to make sure our systems run smoothly.

2. System Installation and Maintenance

3. Training and Support

You’ll train store employees on how to use the POS system and provide ongoing support to make sure they feel comfortable with the technology. You will be available to answer any questions that come up during their daily use of the system.

4. Documentation and Reporting

You will document all issues you encounter and the steps taken to resolve them. This documentation will help improve our systems and prevent future problems. You will also keep track of the performance of the POS systems and report any ongoing issues to your manager.

5. Collaboration with Other Teams

You will work closely with other IT team members and store employees to solve technical problems and improve the POS systems. Communication and teamwork are essential parts of this role.

Requirements

To qualify for the PTS Support Technician role at Publix, you need to meet the following requirements:
