Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain classrooms, corridors, and other areas of the school, including floors, walls, and surfaces
• Empty trash and recyclables, and replace liners in waste baskets
• Restock supplies of paper products, soap, and other essentials
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, and perform other general cleaning tasks
• Assist with special events and activities, such as concerts, plays, and sports events
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the school’s outdoor areas, including playgrounds and parking lots
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and take direction
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and materials
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Fluency in Norwegian or English (written and spoken)

Working Conditions

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 hours per day, with occasional evening and weekend work
• Work environment: School premises, including classrooms, corridors, and outdoor areas
• Physical demands: Lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy cleaning equipment and supplies, standing for long periods, and bending and stooping
