Warehouse Assistant
Job Summary
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and Inspecting Goods: Assist in receiving and inspecting goods, verifying quantities, and checking for damage or discrepancies.
- Stock Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, perform cycle counts, and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Order Picking and Packing: Assist in picking and packing orders, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Assist in conducting physical inventory counts, identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock, and recommending actions to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other warehouse staff to achieve operational goals and objectives.

Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English; Arabic language skills an advantage.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 25 kg, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Forklift operation certification an advantage.
